We are looking for a System Owner who will take end-to-end responsibility for one or more critical business applications and underlying platforms. In this role, you will serve as the strategic and operational owner of the system landscape within your domain. You will ensure that systems are reliable, secure, scalable, and future-ready, while aligning them with user needs, business processes, and organizational objectives. Working at the intersection of business and IT, you will translate functional demands, operational requirements, and technological developments into a clear system vision and actionable improvement initiatives. As a System Owner, you will oversee the full lifecycle of systems, from selection and implementation to optimization, change management, and eventual retirement. You will align priorities with stakeholders, manage the roadmap, and ensure adherence to architecture principles, security standards, and compliance requirements. You will work closely with product managers, application managers, solution architects, vendors, security specialists, and end users. You should be able to think strategically while also acting decisively when incidents, performance issues, or change requests require immediate attention. You will analyze the impact of changes on processes, integrations, data, and user experience, and make well-founded decisions regarding investments, risks, and improvement opportunities. In addition, you will play an important role in governance, reporting, and decision-making. You will define KPIs, monitor system performance, and drive availability, quality, and continuity. You will also ensure clear documentation, ownership of standards, and transparent communication with involved teams and management. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge with organizational insight and strong communication skills. You understand how complex systems operate within a broader enterprise environment and know how to bring together different interests into a practical approach. You are proactive, analytical, and results-oriented, with attention to both short-term stability and long-term innovation. Experience with vendor management, change management, and stakeholder management is essential for success in this role. In this position, you will have the opportunity to directly influence the quality and effectiveness of business-critical systems. You will contribute to digital transformation, process improvement, and risk control, helping the organization use technology in a purposeful and sustainable way. If you are energized by ownership, collaboration, and continuously improving systems and services, this role is an excellent next step in your career.
